Back to Basics of Family Meals Class Booklet:
What better way to be eco-conscious, savvy with your $$ and health conscious then to learn how to make nutritious home cooked family meals. Busy lives can lead to packaged and processed meal options that can be less nutritious, and cost more than you’d like to spend.
This booklet contains material from the three evening cooking class series, teaching you how to cook and organize meals for you and your family. It includes a list of essential pantry items, what cuts of meat are suited to different dishes, food safety tips and information, and how to purchase fresh and safe food, including fish, meat and poultry. Also included are 30-minute recipes for fast, tasty and nutritious meals along with lunch ideas and recipes, snack recipes, and freezer meal recipes along with menu planning charts to help you meal plan for your family.
These recipes are tried and tested with over 300 babies in our Mommy Chef classes who are growing up with a palate for a vast variety of tasty foods. We strongly believe these recipes help to avoid the picky toddler phase and help your baby to grow up with healthy eating habits and an appreciation for what is good food. Note – the ‘Sprout Right’ book contains 75 recipes which include most of the below.
